Licensed Therapist | Clinical Supervisor | Researcher

Supporting clinicians, families, and systems to thrive — not just survive.

I am a licensed therapist, clinical supervisor, and doctoral candidate specializing in intimate partner violence among military couples and families. My work lives at the intersection of rigorous research and direct clinical practice — because better outcomes for this population require both.

Based in [Location], I currently serve as a supervisor at a community mental health agency, where I support clinicians working with some of the most underserved populations in our field. My doctoral research focuses on mental health clinician sustainability and systemic advocacy — examining how the system itself, rather than a shortage of providers, is driving the mental health workforce crisis, and how clinicians can work within and around those structures to sustain themselves and their practice.

What I Do

Clinical Practice & Supervision I am a licensed therapist working with couples, families, and individuals across a wide range of presenting concerns. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidence-based approach particularly effective for trauma, and integrate it alongside my systemic and relational lens. In my current supervisor role, I support and train the next generation of clinicians in community mental health settings.

Research My research centers on intimate partner violence among active-duty military populations — examining prevalence, perpetration, victimization, and the role of psychological and emotional abuse, which remains critically underrepresented in the literature. I am committed to producing research that is both academically rigorous and practically useful for clinicians in the field.

Speaking & Training I am available for speaking engagements, clinical training workshops, and continuing education events. I speak to academic and research audiences, clinical professionals, military and veteran-focused organizations, and general community groups. If you are looking for a speaker who can translate complex research into meaningful clinical and community impact, I'd love to connect.
